ELKINS, W.Va. – Glenville opened its three-match road swing in MEC Volleyball Tuesday night, losing to Davis & Elkins in straight sets; 25-16, 25-11, 25-18. The Lady Pioneers held each set tight in the early going, but could not overtake a deep and talented D&E team that is tied for the MEC's Southern Division lead.

Karlei Shaver each produced team highs with four kills and two service aces each. Shaver also recorded a team-high eight digs, with
Kiera Ashburn tallying two blocks.
Davis & Elkins improves to 12-9 overall, and 9-1 in the Mountain East Conference. Glenville falls to 2-14 overall and 0-10 in the league.

Keven John's Glenville squad returns to action Friday night, traveling to Notre Dame for the team's longest road trip of the year. First serve will be 7:00 on the NDC campus in South Euclid, Ohio.
