Glenville, W.Va. – GSC Softball will travel to West Virginia State and the University of Charleston for their first pairs of away games as well as MEC conference matchups.

Pioneer, Yellow Jacket & Golden Eagles
Glenville State enters the conference match ups with a 3-8 non-conference overall. The Pioneers recently fell to Wayne State and Tiffin University at the conclusion of lastly week 7-6 and 1-3. At the plate, GSC holds a .265 batting average and 6.75 ERA on the mound. GSC has not played a conference game since May 2019.
West Virginia State, 3-5 on the year recently swept UVA Wise 6-3 and 3-1 in the past weekend. Earlier in the season at GSC's softball tournament the Yellow Jackets defeated University of Findlay 7-4. Madison Rafuson leads WVSU offensively with a .375. In the last four GSC & WVSU ball games, WVSU would come out on top 4-of-the-4 games.
University of Charleston is 7-3 on the season as they split with Cedarville University 1-0 & 3-4. Ann-Judie Martin leads the Golden Eagles at the plate with a .429 average and Morgan hope on the mound with a 1.48 ERA. The Pioneers have not won a game against UC since 2018.

Mackenzie Martinelli leads GSC at the plate with a .444 batting average including a homerun and five doubles on the season.
Kaelyn Stenger tallies two home runs and including six RBIs along with
Kaylee Drake.
Karra Smith and
Catherine Pelfrey tally 13 and 12 hits respectively.
On the mound for Glenville,
Celina Maberto sits 2-2 on the season with a 4.10 ERA with ten strikeouts and Peyton Wrentz who is 1-2 chips in with 18 strikeouts.
