Coming off a slow start, the Pioneers sit 0-4 on the season though holding a .263 offensive attack at the plate while picking up 31 hits in their first GSC Softball Tournament. Glenville State tallied season high 13 hits against University of Findlay and six strikeouts against Hillsdale College.
Salem University enters the matchup 1-1 on the season after splitting a double header with Wheeling University earlier in the week. In the pair, the Tigers totaled 14 hits scoring 11 runs. Wheeling took game one 3-14 in five innings where SU took game two 8-7. On the mound
