GLENVILLE – After opening their season 3-2 last weekend, Coach Sara Scoone's Glenville State Softball team returns to action this weekend, hosting Slippery Rock in a four-game set at the Sue Morris Complex. Doubleheaders are slated both day with the opponent from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
Pitcher Holly Brehm has been the story early on for GSU, as the right hander went 3-0 last weekend, striking out 36 hitters in 21 innings of work. She has an ERA of 0.86.
Glenville's offense has four players hitting over .300 through five games; Addison Aguiniga (.462), Ashton Palmer (.389), Natalie Fout (.385), and Makenna Negley (.316).
First pitch is set for 1:00 at Doug Morris Field.
