GLENVILLE – Coach Jimmy Mullins' Glenville State baseball team ran their record to 12-2 on Sunday afternoon, defeating Lock Haven 13-6 at the Sue Morris Complex. The Pioneers hit a pair of three-run homers in the victory, and received a another quality start from Adam Riggleman, who ran his recor on the season to a perfect 4-0.
Riggleman went six innings, giving up five hits, giving up three earned runs, and struck out six. Austin Corn pitched three innings of relief to pick up the save.
Calen Kampes and Darius Barton each delivered three-run blasts, and Fabian Escalante drilled a three-RBI double. Matthew Mangum was three-for-four at the plate.
GSU is now 12-2 overall, while Lock Haven falls to 6-7.
Glenville begins MEC play in two weeks.
