GLENVILLE – Glenville's Softball team travels to the Kanawha Valley this weekend, playing return engagements against both the University of Charleston and West Virginia State University. Coach Sara Scoone's squad plays UC on Saturday, and will stay in the Valley to face WVSU on Sunday. Each date will be a doubleheader with a 1:00 PM start.
Glenville has four regulars currently hitting over .300; Ashton Palmer (.347), Haylee Stevens (.344), Addison Aguiniga (.327), and Jasmine Runk (.313). Runk hit a pair of home runs on Tuesday against Davis & Elkins.
Holly Brehm has led the pitching staff, registering four wins and 93 strikeouts in the 64 innings of work. She has an ERA of 3.52.
