GLENVILLE – Coach Sara Scoone's Glenville Softball squad travels south on Wednesday afternoon, facing Concord for a mid-week doubleheader. It will be the first of a pair of home-and-home doubleheaders between the two travel partners.
Three Pioneer starters are currently hitting above .300; Ashton Palmer (.367), Haylee Stevens (.329), and Addison Aguiniga (.318). Stevens and Aguiniga both have a pair of home runs on the season, with teammates Jasmine Runk and Sophia Delvecchio with a pair of bombs as well.
Pitcher Holly Brehm has been on the mount for five of the six Pioneer wins. She is currently 5-6 with a 3.86 ERA. Brehm has 106 strikeouts, just 12 shy of the school's single season record, set by Samantha Stewart in 2006 (118).
First pitch is set for 4:00 on the Concord campus.
