FROSTBURG, Md. - The Glenville State Volleyball team lost in three sets tonight at Frostburg State following their Tuesday victory over Davis & Elkins. The Bobcats were able to put together 41 kills, holding the Pioneers to just 19.
The Pioneers kept it close midway through the first set, however the Bobcats would pull away to take the set 25-15. The second set saw both squads have an opportunity to win it at 24-22 for FSU and 25-24 for Glenville State. Frostburg State would score the final three points of the set to go up 2-0 with a 27-25 second set win. The third set was all Bobcats 25-7.
The Final Stats
Rita Kelly was the lone Pioneer with double-digit kills, finishing with 10. Sarah Grainger only had 12 assists with nine digs and Lindsay Winkler led the team in digs with 18.
Beverly Braun led Frostburg State in kills with 19. Hayley Delor recorded 33 assists while three other Bobcats had 11 digs apiece in the win.
