WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - The Glenville State Women's Soccer team played to a 1-1 tie tonight with West Liberty at West Family Athletic Complex. Both teams had double-digit shot attempts.
Merel Smets fired off the first shot of the game at the three-minute mark but was too far left. The Hilltoppers had back-to-back shots at the fifth-minute, connecting on the second one after Morales saved the first shot. Isabella Aperfine found the back of the net to make it 1-0. The score would stay there for the remainder of the half.
