Second Half Struggles Plague Pioneers in Loss to Seton Hill

GLENVILLE, W.Va. - The Glenville State Men's Basketball team fell to regional opponent Seton Hill 69-57 tonight in a midweek non-conference clash. The Pioneers were forced into 19 turnovers while the Griffins only turned the ball over six times in the win.

16 of the first 18 Pioneer points were scored by Devin Collins and Dominiq Penn as GSU trailed by just one midway through the first half. SHU took the biggest lead of the half (five) but the Pioneers answered back quickly to tie the game back up. However, Seton Hill went on another run to close out the half and took a small 36-32 lead into the locker room.

In the second half, Glenville State went bucket for bucket with the Griffins for the first eight minutes until Seton Hill went on an 18-2 run that lasted nearly 10 minutes to pull away from GSU. In that span, the Pioneers had seven turnovers and shot 1-9 from the field, allowing SHU to pull away 69-57.
