GSU Track and Field Gear Up for Final Week Before Conference Meet

GLENVILLE, W.Va. - With the final week of the regular season, Glenville State Track and Field prepare for its final three meets. The Pioneers kick off the final stretch at Bethany College on Wednesday, April 19th. GSU will be sending a small group to the Bethany Mini Meet. The last time Glenville competed at Bethany, Coach Meyers's squad has multiple top-five finishes.

On Friday, April 21st the Pioneers will be traveling to the WVU Mountaineer Showcase. This marks consecutive seasons that Glenville has competed at the showcase. Once again GSU will be sending a small group with the Javelin, Hammer, and Steeplechase athletes. Glenville then closes out the 2023 campaign at Alderson Broadus University. Saturday's trip marks the first time during Coach Meyers's tenure that Pioneers have traveled to Philippi, W.Va.

With the final stretch of meets approaching, Glenville will be looking to get marks for the Mountain East Conference Outdoor Championship.
