A Look at Your Lady Pioneers

While Glenville closed out the season with a (3-5) record, The Lady Pioneers were able to take a game from West Virginia Wesleyan. In the previous matchups against the Falcons of Fairmont State, both games would be decided by one run. Game one was ten inning marathon where GSU lost on a walk-off single up the middle. During the regular season series, Addison Aguiniga was a huge contributor going 4-5.

Throughout the 2023 campaign the Lady Pioneers have had a one-two punch with pitchers Holly Brehm and Kylie Burdick. Brehm a native of Mullens, W.Va. posts one of the best ERAs in the Mountain East Conference. While Burdick is a Freshman she has posted a team-high 12 wins. Her 12 wins put her in third for the most wins in a single season by a GSU pitcher. The bats of Ashotn Palmer and Katelyn Richardson have provided a spark for Glenville with both hitting over .300.
