DANIELS, W.Va. – The Glenville State Women's Golf team have been crowned Mountain East Conference Champions for a third-straight year!

The Pioneers made an incredible comeback in round three to chase down Charleston and take home the MEC title.

Following a +21 first round, the Pioneers put themselves into 2^nd place with a +40 second round. Trailing late in the 3^rd round, the Pioneers were able to shoot their best round of the tournament (+19), beating out the Golden Eagles, who also shot their best round of the tournament in the final round at +23.

The Pioneers individually placed:
T-1^st – Maria Escobar (82, 75)
T-1^st – Kerri-Anne Cook (79, 76, 74)
6^th – Kendall Wall (78, 86, 76)
8^th – Lizzie Bickar (76, 84, 84)
30^th – Elaina Seeley (76, 82)
