PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Glenville State Cross Country teams raced one final time before the Mountain East Conference Championship today, running in Pittsburgh at Schenley Park. The Pioneer men had their best 8k race of the season while
Natalie Barr topped her own school record in the 5k.
The Women
Natalie Barr's 18:35 finish beats her old school record of 18:48, allowing her to finish in 3
rd place.
Jenna Barnett crossed the line at 19:52, placing 23
rd.
Katie Hicks improved her time and #8 all-time spot, finishing at 20:19 (33
rd place).
Abby Dixon (20:50, 57
th) and
Hannah Rowan (21:24, 71
st) both PR'd while
Savannah Cunningham (21:55, 77
th),
Hannah Hill (22:58, 92
nd) and
Sara Lowe (27:45, 116
th) rounded out the Pioneer women.
The Men
Patrick Reilly secured a top 10 finish for the Pioneers, placing 10
th with a time of 26:01.
Nick Pitchford placed 17
th, crossing at 26:31.
Jackson Mallett ran at 27:35 to take 43
rd place,
Bryan Utt took 66
th with a time of 28:17,
Caden Davis was 73
rd at 28:39,
Daniel Kargol took 80
th place at 29:14 and
Devan Lawson finished with a time of 32:06 for 114
th. It was a PR day for
