GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State Women's Soccer team scored six goals from six different Pioneers en route to a 6-0 shutout victory over Salem tonight. The Pioneers improve to (5-5-2) overall, tying the most wins in a single season in school history (five wins in 2023).
1st Half
In the first half, the Pioneers put on a dominate performance. The Pioneers outshot Salem by 19 shots and didn't allow them to get a single shot during the whole half. The Pioneers also had 11 shots on goal while four of these shots found the back of the net from the feet of Aitana Viejo, Noelia Garcia, Marcelle Stoller and Merel Smets.
2nd Half
In the second half, the Pioneers added to their lead early on, scoring a goal at the 50-minute mark courtesy of Natalia Bernal. The Pioneers kept the pressure on Salem again and didn't allow them to get a single shot off. The Pioneers sealed the deal with a late game goal from Valentina Quiroz to give them the win 6-0.

The Tigers didn't get a single shot off as Sarah Cabera provided Salem with 12 saves in tonight's loss.
Glenville State
The Pioneers had six different players score for them in today's game. Noelia Garcia provided the most shots for Glenville with six. There was a three way tie for most shots on goal with each player having three apiece.
