GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State Men's and Women's Golf teams are beginning the Mountain East Conference Championship tomorrow (Oct. 7) in Daniels W.Va. at the Glade Springs Resort. The championship event will conclude on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

The men's lineup includes Bumin Choi, Mathias Nunez, Fermin Perez Santandrea, Gervasio Leyes and Segundo Del Carril. In their last outing, the men finished 5^th overall as a team at Hannastown Golf Club, led by Nunez (14^th) and Santandrea (17^th).

The women are looking to three-peat as MEC champions and the lineup will feature Kerri Anne-Cook, Kendall Wall, Lizzie Bickar, Maria Escobar and Mackenzie Czapla. During the season, the Pioneers have captured the Ashland Invitational and finished second at the UC Fall Invitational. In their last tournament at Ashland, Cook and Escobar tied for second while Wall (5^th) also placed in the top 10.
