GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Men's Basketball travels to Fairmont State (7-0, 4-0 MEC) on Wednesday (Dec. 11) and hosts Frostburg State (2-7, 1-3 MEC) on Sunday (Dec. 15) inside the Waco Center as the Pioneers get back to conference play.

THE OPPENENTS
FAIRMONT STATE
2024-25 Season
Fairmont State comes into Wednesday's matchup undefeated with a record of (7-0, 4-0 MEC). Fairmont is currently ranked 2nd in the MEC in offense, averaging 91 points per game and they are also ranked 3rd in the MEC in defense by holding opponents to an average of 78 points per game.
Head Coach
Tim Koenig is in his sixth season as the Head Coach of Fairmont State Men's Basketball program. Coach Koenig was named Fairmont's Head Coach in 2019 and in that same year he won the Mountain East Conference Coach of the Year.

This season, the Falcons are led in scoring by David Jolinder, who is averaging 19 points a game. Behind him in scoring is Andre Harris and Rudy Fitzgibbons, who are both averaging 15 points a game. Frostburg State comes into the week with a record of (2-7, 1-3 MEC). The Bobcats have an opportunity to add to their record against Concord before traveling to Glenville on Sunday. The Bobcats are 2nd in the MEC in defense as they are holding their opponents to an average of 77 points per game.
Head Coach
Zack Thomsen is in his second season as the Head Coach of the Frostburg State Men's Basketball program. In Coach Thomsen's first season as Head Coach, his team finished (3-26, 2-18 MEC) and made the Mountain East Conference tournament for the first time in the program's history.
