ASHLAND, Ohio – The Glenville State Wrestling team dropped a pair of matches earlier today at the Ashland Tri-Meet, falling to the host Ashland and Grand Valley State.  

Devin Easton was one of two Pioneers to go undefeated on the day, wrestling in the 133-pound class. Gavin Shamblin only wrestled against GVSU, picking up a victory. Kolbi Hamilton and Gaetano DeLeonardis both went (1-1).  

The Pioneers mixed starters and backups this weekend as they get closer and closer to the NCAA Super Region 3 Tournament in early March.

The Pioneers travel to West Virginia University next Sunday (Feb. 18) to square off with the Mountaineers.
