NEW ORLEANS, La. - Glenville State Cross Country and Track & Field standout Natalie Barr has been named to the USTFCCCA Cross Country All-Academic Team, the first Pioneer to do so in program history.
Barr was named All-Academic after completing the Fall semester with a 4.0 GPA and finishing in the top-30 percent of the Atlantic Regional Championship meet. Barr, who majors in education, quickly made a name for herself during the Cross Country season by breaking the 35-year-old school record in just the second meet of the season. From there, Barr earned All-MEC Second Team and became the first Pioneer to earn All-Region after placing 25th at the Atlantic Regional Championship.
