GSU XC Wrap Up Lock Haven Go Fast Invitational

Lock Haven, Pa. - Glenville State's Cross country teams returned to action for the first time since Oct. 8th competing at the West Branch Course.

Coach Dan Myers' Men's team finished 11th overall out of a 14 team field. The Pioneers were able to finish ahead of one Mountain East Conference foe in the race, Alderson Broaddus. They were led by Senior Bryce Jarrell who finished 57th out of the 170-runner field with a time of 26:37. Bryce was followed by his brother Balke Jarrell in 71st at 27:19, BJ Utt (82nd, 27:41), Freshman Trey Stanley (98th, 28:22), and Christopher Chambers wrapped up Glenville's scoring placing 125th in 30:01

For the GSU Women, Freshman Alivia Moffatt led the Lady Pioneers placing 110th with a time of 26:37. Samantha Dawson was close behind Moffatt finishing in 113th at 27:07. The remaining scorers for Glenville were Summer McShane-Cale (120th, 27:38), Sara Lowe (128th, 29:16), and Kyra Bauer (134th, 30:09).

The Pioneers will be back in action on November 5th competing in the Mountain East Conference Cross Country Championships.
