CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Glenville State Men's Golf team finished 9
th at the University of Charleston Fall Invitational on Tuesday (Sept. 10). The Pioneers had the fourth-highest finish of the nine MEC schools at the Edgewood Country Club.
As a team, the Pioneers completed their first tournament of the year with a score of 899 (+47). Senior
Bumin Choi was the highest-placing GSU golfer, taking 33
rd place at 223 (+10), including a score of 72 (+1) in round three.
Fabricio Meza was in the top 25 until the third round, eventually finishing in 40
th with a score of 224 (+11). The rest of the Pioneers placed:
48th – Gervasio Leyes (227, +14)
62nd – Ethan Hardy (230, +17)
64th – Segundo Del Carril (231, +18)
64th – Fermin Santandrea (231, +18)
69th – Mathias Nunez (232, +19)
