GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State Women's Soccer team lost a conference matchup on the road against West Virginia Wesleyan College tonight, 2-0. The Pioneers record falls to (3-3, 1-3 MEC).
1st Half
In the first half, the Bobcats scored early at the 11-minute mark. Glenville State attempted to match WVWC by out shooting them in shots by three and had chances to score with three shots on goal, but couldn't manage to find the back of the net.
2nd Half
In the second half, GSU was fighting from behind trying to even the score with the Bobcats. Wesleyan scored again early in the second half, making the score 2-0. While the Pioneers outshot the Bobcats again in the second half, they didn't manage to get any shot on goal, giving them their third conference loss of the season.

Tessa Grisez and Hannah Dietrich managed to find the back of the net for the Bobcats with a goal each. Mia Rodriguez had the only assist for the Bobcats, while Tessa Grisez and Ava Badallo led the team in shots with two apiece. Paula Garcia managed to rack up three saves for the Bobcats.
Glenville State
Noelia Garcia led the Pioneers in shots with four, behind her was Valentina Quiroz and Marcelle Stoller both with two shots. Three different Pioneers had a chance to score with a shot on goal each. Anjolie Colon gave the Pioneers two saves in the loss.
