THE TEAMS
The Pioneers will be matched up with CMU Alumni, Indiana (Pa.), Slippery Rock, Lake Erie, Pitt-Johnstown, West Virginia Wesleyan, Ashland, Point Park, Mercyhurst, Wheeling, Westminister, PSU-Altoona, Frostburg State, Carnegie Mellon, West Liberty, Edinboro, Duquesne, Seton Hill, California (Pa.), Chatham, Clarion, Edinboro, West Liberty and West Virginia

THE PIONEERS
The Pioneers raced last weekend (Oct. 5) at Louisville for the first time as a team. Natalie Barr, the MEC Runner of the Week, as well as the 1st place finisher in the Silver race with a time of 18:23. Along with the Pioneers other top runners, Jenna Barnett, Katie Hicks, Abby Dixon and Morgan Ruggles, who contributed to the team's third-place finish.

The men came back home with some hardware by finishing second as a squad. Nick Pitchford led the team with a 9th place finish and a time of 26:11. He was followed by Jackson Mallet, Patrick Reilly, Caden Davis and Landon Griffith, who contributed to the team's highest finish on the season.
