GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State athletes
Natalie Barr and
Sean Scott have been tabbed GoMart Pioneers of the Week, the GSU Athletic Department announced.
Barr, a junior cross country runner out of Canvas, W.Va., finished 1st and broke her own school record in the 5k race at Carnegie Mellon this past weekend, finishing in front of 40 non-GSU MEC runners. The 183-runner field was led by Barr's 17:06.70 finish.
Scott, a junior safety on the Pioneer football team out of Manassas, Va., was a big part in the Pioneers 19-13 win at No. 21 Frostburg State on Saturday (Oct. 11). Scott totaled 12 tackles, including eight solo, as well as two pass breakups, one QB hurry and 0.5 TFL.
