BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Glenville State Women's Soccer forward Solares Solano has been picked to the All-MEC Second Team and All-MEC Freshman Team, the league announced today.

Solano, a true freshman out of San Diego, Calif., earned Mountain East Conference honors after a stellar rookie campaign that saw the 5-foot-6 forward lead the Pioneers and rank 6^th in the conference in goals with nine. Solano was also 8^th in game-winning goals with three and 10^th in total points with 19. Her nine goals ranked her 2^nd amongst freshman.

Solano helped the Pioneers to a (6-11-1, 5-9-1 MEC) record in 2025, which was good enough to help the Pioneers clinch a berth into the MEC Tournament for the second time in three seasons. Solano and the Pioneers will take on Fairmont State on Sunday (Nov. 9) at 5 p.m. in Fairmont.
