BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Glenville State Softball ace Kylie Burdick has been awarded Mountain East Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league announced. The weekly award is presented by The Health Plan.

Burdick, a junior out of Cincinnati, Ohio, was crucial in the Pioneers (7-1) overall week, going (5-0) herself with wins over Wheeling, Concord, Fairmont State and Frostburg State twice. The Taylor HS product threw 30 innings over a five day stretch, allowing just one run and 17 hits in those 30 innings of work. She also struck out 20 batters and produced three shutouts with three complete games, lowering her ERA on the season to 1.94.
