CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Glenville State Women's Golfers Maria Escobar and Lizzie Bickar have been selected to the All-MEC First Team, the league announced.

Escobar, who placed T-1^st at the MEC Fall Championship with fellow teammate and now MEC Player & Freshman of the Year Kerri-Anne Cook, finished T-4^th at the MEC Spring Classic to get her First Team nod. The Armenia, Columbia native was in 14^th place after a (+10) first round, but moved up 10 spots with a (+3) second round to tie with Charleston's Gabrielle Harrison.

Bickar, a now two-time All-MEC First Team honoree, finished 6^th at the MEC Spring Classic after an 8^th-place finish at the MEC Fall Championship. The Tallmadge HS and former Indiana State Sycamore shot (+14) this week, going (+8) in round one and (+6) in round two. Bickar is also a two-time All-MEC Second Team selection (2022-23, 2023-24).
