INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Glenville State Softball came in at No. 7 in this week's Atlantic Regional rankings, the NCAA announced. The Pioneers were 'under consideration' last week.

The top six spots of the regional rankings were all taken by PSAC teams, headlined by East Stroudsburg (36-9-1) at #1. Behind Glenville State is MEC foe Fairmont State, who currently leads the MEC North Division at (30-15-1, 17-7 MEC). The number nine and 10 slots were also held by PSAC teams.

The (31-14, 19-7 MEC) Pioneers currently sit in first place in the MEC South Division, leading by two games over Davis & Elkins and Charleston. GSU has a chance to clinch their first-ever MEC Divisional title this weekend when they wrap up the regular season at home with D&E on Friday (Apr. 25) and West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday (Apr. 26).
