Kylie Burdick has been marked Mountain East Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week, the league announced. The weekly award is presented by
The Health Plan and Burdick shared it with Wheeling's Kaylin Shields.
Burdick, a Cincinnati, Ohio native, went (3-0) this weekend with three complete games and two shutouts, only allowing one run (unearned) over 21 innings of work. The junior struck out 12 and only squandered 10 hits and five walks with her best performance coming against Davis & Elkins when she struck out seven and gave up just three hits. In addition, she helped clinch the MEC South Division title on Saturday against WVWC with back-to-back complete games.
