GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Director of Athletics
Jesse Skiles has proudly announced the hiring of Caitlyn Sturm as the new Glenville State Women's Golf Head Coach.
Sturm, who has worked at both Stonewall Resort and Lakeview Resort as a Golf Professional, comes to Glenville with years of experience in the profession. A 2017 graduate of the Golf Academy of America – Myrtle Beach, Sturm was also a Certified Personal Golf Coach at GolfTec. Most recently, she was the head boy's soccer coach at Lewis County High School (Weston, W.Va.) for two years and helped start the first-ever golf team at Robert L. Bland Middle School this past spring.

She comes into Glenville with the Pioneers having a plethora of success over the past three seasons, winning three-straight Mountain East Conference championships and finishing in the top 10 of the region in each of the last two seasons.

The Pioneer Women's Golf team opens the 2025-26 campaign September 3-5 at the Wheeling Invitational in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
