THE PIONEERS
After the Pioneers had a strong finish at West Liberty two weeks ago with the women placing fourth in a nine-team field, the squad is led by Natalie Barr (3rd, 18:29) and Jenna Barnett (7th, 19:16). Several other Pioneers contributed to the finish over several conference teams, with Laura Cain (25th, 20:12), Abby Dixon (30th, 20:20), and Katie Hicks (33rd, 20:24) as Glenville's final top five finishers.
On the men's side, they opened the season with a 3rd place finish. Our top two men, Patrick Reilly (3rd, 19:08) and Nick Pitchford (4th, 19:09), ran side-by-side to the finish line to help the team secure a strong overall placement. This landmark finish for the men's team gained them their first-ever ranking in the DII Atlantic Regional Poll, with the Pioneers sliding in at the No. 10 spot.
