GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The ninth-ranked Glenville State Wrestling team dominated MEC foe Davis & Elkins, 48-0, tonight (Jan. 23) inside the Waco Center as the Pioneers used the impressive win for a tune up to next week's MEC Championship in Glenville.
Head Coach
Dylan Cottrell trotted out just one starter,
Colby Whitehill, to the mat as the sixth-year leader gave Pioneer reserves a chance wrestle in front of GSU fans and put another match under their belt. The seven grapplers who wrestled took care of business in a timely and fashionable manner. All seven matches ended in a tech fall or fall, with three matches lasting two or less minutes.
