LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Glenville State standout senior Kylie Burdick has been named Wilson/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Pitcher of the Week, the association announced.
 
Burdick, who hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, went (2-0) with a 0.47 ERA and 20 strikeouts last week for the Pioneers. She went the distance in both outings, including an eight-inning victory over Gannon in which she allowed a run on four hits with six punchouts and one walk. In her first start last weekend, Burdick twirled a five-hit shutout against Bowie State with 14 strikeouts and three walks.
 
Burdick and the Pioneers return to action next Friday (Mar. 6) against Southwest Minnesota State at THE Spring Games.
