GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State athletes Jenna Barnett and Corey Boulden have been picked GoMart Pioneers of the Week, the GSU Athletic Department announced.
 
Barnett, a standout sophomore on the GSU Track & Field team, won the 5000m race at Saturday's Jewel City Invitational in Huntington, becoming just the second Pioneer woman to ever break 18 minutes in the race. The Morgantown, W.Va. native crossed the finish line at 17:47.12, finishing ahead of two Division I runners and five MEC competitors.
 
Boulden, an emerging redshirt sophomore with the Men's Basketball program, averaged 19.5 PPG on 50% shooting from the field and 10 three-pointers made. Boulden also grabbed 4.0 RPG and shot three-for-four at the free throw line. He helped the Pioneers to a pair of victories over Point Park, 93-73, and Salem, 100-73, which he led both games in scoring. The in-state product scored 19 against PPU while producing 20 points versus Salem.
