BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Seeds and pairings for the 2026 Mountain East Conference Basketball Tournament presented by The Health Plan have been set, the league announced.

The Lady Pioneers won the MEC Regular Season championship and earned the No. 1 seed, finishing the regular season (22-5) overall and (16-4) in league play. GSU will play the winner of #8 West Virginia State / #9 West Liberty in the Quarterfinals on Thursday (Mar. 5) at 6 p.m. inside WesBanco Arena.

The Pioneer Men earned the No. 5 seed after their thrilling 90-89 win over Concord on Saturday (Feb. 28), closing out the regular season (17-11) overall and (11-9) in conference play. Glenville State will take on Charleston in the Quarterfinals on Friday (Mar. 6) in the nightcap at 8:30 p.m., a rematch of last week's one-point loss to the Golden Eagles.
