GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Glenville State Baseball team lost a Tuesday (Mar. 10) clash with Seton Hill, 13-2, yesterday in Greensburg in a quick turnaround from the Pioneers weekend sweep versus Lake Erie. GSU dropped to (11-5) on the year with the defeat.

Grant Landis pitched a shutout first inning, which was his only inning of the contest, Seton Hill got onto the Pioneer bullpen quickly with a run in the 2
nd inning, three runs in the 3
rd and five runs in the 4
th inning to go up 9-0 midway through. Glenville State plated their first runs of the afternoon in the top of the 7
th when
Adam Bright had an RBI single and a wild pitch allowed Bright to score. SHU added onto their advantage in the 8
th, eventually closing out the Pioneers, 13-2.

Jakob Haynes went 3-5 with four RBIs while Nate Dorinsky and Colin Ahr both had two hits for the Griffins. Nate Simon and Brady McGuire both had two RBIs with three other Griffins adding one RBI each. Seton Hill had seven pitchers take the bump, only allowing three hits, six walks and two earned runs with 11 strikeouts.

Adam Bright all had a hit with Bright notching the lone RBI of the game for GSU. Seven Pioneer pitchers came out with
