LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Glenville State Softball standouts
Zailees Seda and
Maci Boggess have been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year watchlist, the association announced today. The list is broken down into the eight NCAA DII regions with up to 15 student-athletes in each region as 118 players were logged on this year's watchlist.
Seda, who's been the Pioneers most impressive hitter in 2026, is batting .393 with a .970 OPS, 35 hits, one home run, 16 RBIs, six doubles and one triple on the year. The former Saint Peter's transfer has a hit in 21 of 30 games, including 11 contests of two or more knocks while producing her best game against Tusculum where she went 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
Boggess, a Youngstown State transfer, has a (7-4) record, 2.34 ERA, seven complete games, one shutout and 34 strikeouts in 13 appearances (11 starts) for the Pioneers in 2026. Boggess is second on the team in innings with 71.2, and has went at least four innings 11 times thus far.
The list is compiled by the elected members of the
NFCA Division II All-American Committee with one head coach representing each of the eight NCAA regions. To be eligible, a student-athlete's head coach must be an active NFCA member.
