INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Glenville State Softball team heard their name called for the first time in program history this morning during the NCAA DII Softball Selection Show, as the Pioneers were seeded 4
th in the Atlantic Region and will take on the University of Charleston in the Opening Round on Thursday (May 14) at 2:30 p.m.
Glenville State will be playing in Shippensburg, as the Raiders are the region's No. 1 seed after a (38-16) season that was capped off with a PSAC championship. Claflin, the CIAA winner, will also be making the trip to Pennsylvania in the four-team field. The full bracket can be found

The Pioneers, who just beat Charleston twice on Saturday (May 9) to capture the program's first-ever Mountain East Conference Tournament championship, will meet the Golden Eagles for the seventh time this season on Thursday. GSU is (4-2) against the Golden Eagles thus far, and shared the MEC South Division title with UC as well.
