CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Glenville State Softball team will be the No. 7 seed and take on second-seeded Missouri Southern State in the opening round of the 2026 NCAA DII Women's College World Series (WCWS) on Thursday (May 28) at 4 p.m. UT-Chattanooga's Frost Stadium at Warner Park is the host site of this year's championship.
The Pioneers (51-16) won the Atlantic Super Regional in three games over Kutztown to advance to the program's first-ever World Series. The Lions (53-8) had to top Central Oklahoma in back-to-back elimination games to capture the Central Super Regional title and qualify for their third World Series.
