GLENVILLE, W.Va. - The Glenville State Softball team fell one spot to No. 5 in this week's NCAA DII Atlantic Regional Rankings, the association announced.

The Pioneers sit at (40-13) heading into Thursday's MEC Tournament matchup with Fairmont State. Glenville State finished the regular season with 39 victories and shared the MEC South Division championship with the University of Charleston as both squads totaled 24 league wins. The Golden Eagles and Fairmont State were both in the rankings this week as well, with UC sliding in at No. 4 and the Falcons coming in at No. 9.
