Glenville, W.Va. – The Glenville State men's golf program is pleased to announce Brian Chaney as the newest member of the Pioneer team after he signed his letter of intent on Friday.
 
Brian, a native of Kingston, Ohio, started his golf career at Zane Trace High School. During his time he was a three year selection to the SVC (Scioto Valley Conference) All-Conference team. Brian was also a member of the Ohio District II All-District Team and a medalist of Vinton County Invitational his junior year of high school with a score of 72.
 
After high school he attended Missouri Valley College. He was selected to play with USA Athletics International team in Scotland over the summer. Brian played varsity golf for Missouri Valley College golf team during the course of the 2017-18 academic year and was also a member of the Dean's List at MVC during the 2017-18 academic year.

The GSC's men's golf team and the Athletic Department would like congratulate Brian on becoming the newest member of the GSC Golf program.
