Glenville, W.Va. – After a historic match in the Lilly Gymnasium, the Pioneers fell to Davis & Elkins College 27-15 as GSC falls to 0-5 on the season.
 
Gavin Shamblin finished the day 2-0 with Cole Houser and Jacob Puckett behind 1-for-2.
 
How It Happened
 
The Pioneers picked up four victories scoring a total of 15 points in the match;
 
Tyshawn White opened the match for GSC with an 18-4 major decision gaining four points for the Pioneers.
 
Then Alec Fulwider stepped in on the mat also gaining 16-7 major decision putting the Pioneers ahead 8-3.
 
From there Davis & Elkins then took the next four matches until Joel Cruickshanks took over a 4-0 decision to trail 17-11.
 
Gavin Shamblin then took the final match and final victory for Glenville with a 17-4 major decision to fall 15-27 in the contest.
