Glenville State Volleyball Picked Sixth

GLENVILLE – Glenville State's Volleyball team has been picked to finish sixth in the Southern Division of the Mountain East Conference. This was as a result of the preseason poll by league coaches.

New head coach Keven John takes over the reins of the Glenville program, and has welcomed a squad of 22 student-athletes. John has been named conference Coach of the Year three times in his career in different stints at Western State (Colorado) and most recently, Northern Vermont University.

Glenville returns junior Skylar Mace, who recorded 81 kills and a team high 28 blocks, earning her Second Team All-MEC honors. They also return sophomore Karlei Shaver, who led the team with 91 kills and 99 digs en route to MEC Honorable Mention honors.

Coach John's coaching era at GSC begins on September 3, when the Pioneers travel to Kentucky State.
