GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Head Volleyball Coach
Kiara Perkins has resigned after three years at the helm of the Pioneers.
The Coudersport, Pennsylvania native was a star player at Alfred State University in New York, and an assistant coach there as well before coming to Glenville State as Head Coach in 2023.
GSU posted a (28-60) mark over her three years, and the 2023 and 2025 squads had the best league marks in the program's 13 years in the MEC. She is fifth on the school's all-time list for career wins.
"We wish Coach Perkins the best moving forward," Director of Athletics
Jesse Skiles said. "She was an active part of our community and campus. She has recruited a solid foundation for the future of this program, plus she served as our SAAC Advisor and created the Glenville 'Grammys' - our annual Athletic Awards Banquet. We thank her for her contributions to Glenville."
A national search for the next Head Coach of the Glenville State Volleyball program has begun.
