Pittsburgh, Pa – Glenville State's Cross Country teams returned racing Saturday morning, competing at the historic Schenley Park Course in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
Coach
Dan Meyers' Men's Squad finished eighth overall in a field of 14 teams. They were able to fionish ahead of the other two MEC teams in the race, Alderson Broaddus and Fairmont. They were led by star
Bryce Jarrell, who finished 11
th in the 120-runner field, covering the rolling 8-kilometer layout in 26:12. He was followed by brother
Blake Jarrell in 19
th at 26:39,
Adam Davis (48
th, 27:59),
Trey Stanley (65
th, 28:29), and BJ Utt rounding out the Pioneer scoring placing 77
th in 28:58.
Summer McShane-Cale led the GSU women, placing 97
th, covering the 5K layout in 22:26. McShane-Cale followed closely by teammate Sam Dawson in 107
th at 22:56. The remaining Glenville scorers were
