The Lady Pioneers hold a one-game lead for first place in the Mountain East Conference following the eleven-game win streak. With a win, GSU can continue to create separation from West Virginia State in the MEC standings.

A Look at Your Lady Pioneers
Looking at past seasons, the Glenville State Lady Pioneers have dominated over the Wesleyan Lady Bobcats. In the series' recent history, the matchup has favored the Lady Pioneers. GSU in the last ten meetings has come out on top. In the most recent matchup, Glenville State came out on top 101-68, and have scored 100 or more points on five separate occasions.

A Look at the Wesleyan Lady Bobcats
West Virginia Wesleyan enters Saturday's contest 12th in the conference standings. Head Coach Brett Vincent enters his second season under the helm. Vincent has had experience at the Division II level coaching at Chowan University and Fairmont State.
Coming off of a 70-58 win against Concord University, the Bobcats are traveling to Glenville to take on the Glenville State Lady Pioneers. The Wesleyan defense fought hard and kept Concord to only scoring a total of 12 points in the fourth quarter while WVWC put up 21 points in the last quarter.
The Bobcats this season have had the worst offense in the conference averaging 58.1 points per contest. However West Virginia Wesleyan has been solid defensively during the 2022-23 campaign.
