In the first game, the Pioneers won 7-2 and pulled off a 1-0 defeat in extra innings in game two. This time GSU was able to put the ball in and take advantage of the Mountaineer's errors.

In game one the Pioneers were able to score five runs in the third inning to pull away from Mansfield. The Mountaineers would have the lead heading into the bottom of the third putting up two runs. After a walk to start off the inning Mansfield was able to move a runner into scoring position with a single by Brittain Shander. Jacob Houts with a single to the outfield drove in the two runners. The Pioneers were able to stop the damage and get the next batter out.

Zach Bayor got Glenville's offense going in the bottom of the third. With Mansfield committing to an error Bayor was able to reach second. Ryan Rodriguez drove in the first scoring Bayor and advancing Matthew Mangum. After Fabian Escalante reached first on an error, Zach Morris hit a deep ball to center field scoring two more runs.
