A Look at Your Pioneers

Glenville is coming off a four-game series with the Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan College. The Pioneer's offense was on fire averaging 10 runs a contest through the four-game set. Escalante led GSU in batting average for the four games with a .455 and produced ten RBIs

Throughout the season the Pioneer's bullpen and defense have been solid. Glenville with their 11 shutouts have posted the 11th most in all of Division II. GSU also has the best fielding percentage in the conference and has committed the second-fewest errors in the league. As a team, the Pioneers have produced 365 strikeouts which is third in the MEC.
