GLENVILLE, W.Va. - The Glenville State Baseball team fell to the nation's 7th ranked team, Millersville, earlier today at Kenny Greenlief Field 18-1. The Pioneers struggled to field much offense while the Marauders finished with 14 hits.

Glenville was almost able to get out of the first inning jam but Millersville capitalized after loading the basses with three 1st inning runs. The game would get out of hand in the second as Millersville plated eight runs to make it 11-0. MU scored four more runs until the Pioneers were able to score their first run of the game in the bottom of the third on a passed ball. After the delay that took place after the conclusion of the 3rd inning, the Mauraders scored a run in the 4th and two runs in the 6th before closing out the Pioneers 18-1.

Four different Pioneers finished the game with a hit. Adam Bright was handed the loss after 0.2 innings of work, allowing three runs (one earned) on one hit and four walks. The Pioneers used a total of seven pitchers in the loss.
Five Marauders finished with two hits while Sam Morris and Nick O'Connor had 4 RBI to lead the team. Millersville exhausted four arms today with Mike Costello picking up his first win of the season out of the bullpen.
