GLENVILLE, W.Va. - The Glenville State Baseball team dropped their final game of the Pioneer Classic earlier today, falling to No. 21 West Chester 14-4. The Golden Rams produced 16 hits to the Pioneers 10 hits.

WCU used a 1st inning and error and RBI single in the infield to plate the first run of the game. It became a pitching battle for the next five innings, changing in the bottom of the 6th when Lance Minson went yard to tie the game up at 1-1. West Chester got the lead right back in the top of the 7th, plating three runs on a solo HR, an RBI single and a balk. In the bottom half of the seventh, Zach Morris doubled to bring Mason Lohr in, making it a 4-2 game.
The Golden Rams surged late, plating four runs in the eighth inning and six in the ninth inning, running out to a 14-2 advantage. Fabian Escalante roped a single through the right side of the infield to add two more RBIs to his total. A ground out and a strike out ended the game with WCU on top 14-4.

Mason Lohr and Fabian Escalante both went 3-4 with Escalante finishing with 2 RBI. Lance Minson and Zach Morris ended the day with 1 RBI each. Grant Landis started, going five innings with five hits, one run (unearned) and three strikeouts.
Joe Kaleck recorded four hits and 3 RBI to lead the bats for the Golden Rams. Anthony Boccio also had 3 RBI while Evan Profy and Avery Spencer finished with 2 RBI each. Nick Noga picked up his first win of the season coming out of the pen, relieving Joe Sperone who dished out five innings of one-run ball.
